Alexander is one of three Advocacy coordinators dedicated to advocating for the students at Brockport in Brockport Student Government. He is a third year student majoring in Psychology and minoring in History. He aspires to earn a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational psychology after earning his bachelors, where he can continue to advocate for individuals through his research. At Brockport, Alexander is also involved in Residential Life, University Police's Student Patrol, and is currently serving as Director of Public Affairs on the Men of Color e-board. Alexander's goal for this upcoming academic year is to establish a system of communication between students and the college at large. He wants to carry the torch in establishing a strong community at Brockport that thrives in culture and excellence.
Briana Middleton, External Advocacy Coordinator

Briana is the External Advocacy Coordinator for Brockport Student Government. She is currently a Junior pursuing a Bachelor's in Psychology and Spanish with minors in Pre-Professional Health and Sociology. She hopes to gain experience with leadership, communication and aspects she can take to help create efficient and safe communities. After college, Briana hopes to serve in Latin America teaching children English through the Peace Corps. Briana came in as a transfer Sophomore and quickly got involved through joining the Leadership Development Program, Club Cheer and becoming a Transfer Peer Mentor. Currently, in addition to her Advocacy position, Briana is a Community Ambassador, is a member of the PCDI Committee and an officer of The MOVEMENT club here on campus and continues her work as a Transfer Peer Mentor. Briana is passionate about making sure all students on campus feel included, safe and that their voices are always been heard. She supports equity among all members of The College at Brockport.
Kate Demskie, SUNY SA Advocacy Coordinator

Kate is a senior majoring in Political Science and Criminal Justice. As an advocacy coordinator she will be focusing on fostering a good relationship between BSG and SUNY SA, which is the overreaching student government of all SUNY Student Governments. She will also be educating students on what is being done for students at the local and state levels of government. She is very passionate about democratic engagement and politics and looks forward to learning more about what issues matter to you!
